Vanessa is an Emmy Award-winning television host, Phoenix native, and seasoned media personality with more than a decade of experience in television, radio, live events, and storytelling.
For the past 20 seasons, she has brought her energy and personality to the Arizona Diamondbacks as their In-Game Host. Vanessa spent 11 years at 12 News, where she most recently served as the host of Arizona Midday. During her time there, she was part of the team that earned a 2018 Rocky Mountain Emmy for Best Morning Newscast, and she went on to earn an Emmy of her own for television hosting.
Today, Vanessa brings her years of media experience, audience connection, and storytelling expertise to social media, collaborating with businesses and brands to create authentic, engaging content that helps them tell their stories, connect with their audiences, and grow. She understands how to capture attention, tell a compelling story, and make a brand feel genuine and relatable.
Her career also includes hosting Cox's Su Vida, highlighting Hispanic culture, food, lifestyle, and community, as well as her earlier role as a radio personality on 101.5, KMLE Country 107.9 and Mega 104.3.
Giving back and advocating for others has always been an important part of Vanessa's life. After losing her father to non-smokers lung cancer in 2011, she founded the Frank Ramirez Breathe to Believe fundraising event, which has raised more than $100,000 for cancer research, awareness, and support. Vanessa currently serves as a National Board Member for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), continuing her commitment to cancer advocacy and making a difference for people affected by cancer. She was previously honored with the American Cancer Society's Rising Star Woman of the Year Award.
A proud Phoenix native and graduate of Grand Canyon University with a B.A. in Communications, Vanessa combines her Emmy-winning media experience, community connections, and passion for storytelling to help businesses bring their stories to life.
